Why:

Danica Martínez was diagnosed with breast cancer May 1, 2006 at the age of 28. Danica, mother of three young children, bravely fought against the disease with chemotherapies, surgeries, radiation and additional treatments. Just as she was finished with treatment, however, Danica developed chemotherapy induced leukemia. Danica needs a bone marrow transplant to save her life.

Danica Martínez fue diagnosticada con cáncer de pecho el primero de mayo del 2006, a la edad de 28 años. Danica, madre de tres hijos, luchó valientemente contra la enfermedad con cirugías, quimioterapia y radioterapia, entre otros tratamientos. Desafortunadamente, al finalizar los tratamientos, Danica contrajo una leucemia inducida por la quimioterapia. Danica necesita un transplante de médula para salvar su vida.
